Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day management of construction projects for the Seminole Tribe of Florida Construction Management. Monitors and coordinates work performed by architectural, engineering, and sub contractors ensuring compliance of STOF rules and regulations. The incumbent in this position is also responsible for the application of construction technical and management skills to varied construction projects. Coordinates personnel, equipment and materials used in construction projects. Develops critical path method for construction plans and ensures satisfactory completion of assigned work according to schedule. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or similarly related field is required. Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in construction management, development of construction strategic initiatives including site design development, procurement, bidding and negotiation processes, contract specification, negotiation and execution or related field is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel to all Seminole Tribe of Florida Reservations and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
