Job Description

The incumbent in this position performs a variety of skilled administrative and technical support and coordination for various projects, tasks and initiatives for the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Native Learning Center (NLC). The incumbent answers phones, handles customer inquiries, and greets and directs visitors to appropriate staff and office locations. The individual is responsible for composing, typing and distributing a variety of standard documents and correspondence. Generates reports, handles multiple projects, and prepares and monitors invoices and expense reports. The incumbent coordinates and participates in various STOF and NLC events, functions, meetings and customer service calls as assigned by the Executive Director. A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. An Associate’s degree is preferred. A minimum of four (4) years of previous administrative experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified herein is required. Clerical knowledge and experience in utilizing office equipment, following standard office procedures is required. Previous experience and training in lieu of education will be considered. Must demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages is required. Lawson software experience is preferred. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
