Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for planning, organizing and conducting effective educational activities in order to teach and promote cultural traditions and practices among the Tribal Community. The individual in this position will also be responsible for encouraging student participation to enhance developmental skills. High school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred. Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in education system-related projects is or experience serving as cultural instructor or Arts, Crafts, wood carving or similar cultural field is preferred. Ability to speak the Creek and/or Miccosukee language is highly desirable. Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal skills, and communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
