Job Description

This is independent work assisting Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Housing staff located at the Hollywood Reservation in a variety of administrative and clerical matters. Work involves assignments that require some independence in making decisions and obtaining solutions while adhering to and/or operating within established policies, rules and guidelines. The individual provides office coverage, generate reports, perform data entry related to work orders for homeowners and rental properties, schedules and coordinates home repair visits; prepares and monitors invoices. The incumbent assists with managing maintenance staff, receptionist and assists with ensuring the provision of Housing services through the delicate balance of excellent customer service and compliance with housing policies. The Housing Office Coordinator schedules appointments, gives information to callers, composes memos, reviews/inputs invoices, maintains files, contact lists, spreadsheets, etc. The incumbent is familiar with all phases of the operation. High School diploma or equivalent GED equivalent is required. A minimum of four (4) years of experience working as office coordinator, project coordinator or as administrative assistant is required. Familiarity with accounting systems is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
