Job Description

Under general supervision, the incumbent in this position is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of incoming, outgoing and mail Production services and activities of the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Post Office Unit located at the Big Cypress reservation. The individual is responsible for the coordination of various aspects within the facility, including staff scheduling, mail coordination with departments (inter-office mail) for proper pickups and package tracking on a local level, while ensuring a high level of customer service. Recommends policies and guidelines related to postal regulations and mail preparation and services to Supervisor; may lead the work of others. High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. A minimum of two (2) years of postal experience or in a retail service business is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. The incumbent must be able to travel to all reservations and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
