Job Description

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst plays a key role in supporting purchasing operations by providing strategic sourcing expertise to assigned categories within the Seminole Tribe of Florida Purchasing Department. This position is responsible for implementing sourcing strategies to manage and optimize purchasing processes to improve return on investment (ROI), mitigate risks, while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality. The incumbent engages in a wide range of procurement, sourcing, and contracting activities across various commodities and services, supporting the Seminole Tribe of Florida's strategic purchasing vision. The incumbent collaborates with cross-functional teams, manage supplier relationships, and drive negotiations to secure the best possible outcomes for the organization. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. A Minimum of three (3) years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Strategic Sourcing certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD), Certified Global Sourcing Professional (CGSP), is preferred. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License. Demonstrate strong negotiation, analystical and contract management skills. Demonstrate proficiency using Microsoft Office and with sourcing and procurement technologies. Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to travel to all reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
