Job Description

The individual in this position is responsible for providing a variety of administrative fiscal and contracting support services to the Environmental Protection Office (EPO) and subordinate departments i.e., Environmental Resources Department, Water Resources Department, External Environmental Compliance Department and the Department of Conservation with a range of complex administrative and office functions. The incumbent provides comprehensive contract support services include contract development, solicitation, coordination with purchasing, reviewing, tracking and reporting. This person also provides budget support services including annual budget preparation, coordination, reconciliation, tracking, and reporting. This role requires independent decision-making and problem-solving within established policies, rules, and guidelines. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Must demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Must demonstrate proficiency utilizing Hyperion, Excel and other fiscally and contractually relevant software packages is required. Must be able to travel across all reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays, or when required by the program.
