Job Description

The Tribal Wide Data Management / Guardianship Quality Assurance Specialist position is responsible for assessing and promoting compliance with the Seminole Tribe of Florida standards of care and conformance with the Advocacy and Guardianship (AGD) policies and procedures through the development and use of auditing tools for electronic client records. The incumbent is responsible for the oversight of privacy laws and policies, accuracy and integrity of all records and other documentation produced by Guardianship staff, and protects confidentiality of clients in the program. The Data Management / Guardianship Quality Assurance Specialist collects and analyzes audit and incident data; identifies trends for staff training, contributes to Quality Improvement efforts and, in collaboration with program management, ensure that corrective action plans are implemented and maintained. The incumbent provides support to Assistant Directors, Administrators, and Supervisors to ensure that all documentation and reporting requirements are prepared and maintained in a professional and well-coordinated manner. Bachelor’s degree in the field of program evaluation, public policy, psychology, social work, or other related social sciences, is required. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in direct case management of Guardianship cases (vulnerable adults) is required. Quality Assurance certification in the State of Florida is preferred. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrates proficiency in research methods, data collection, and analyzing data is required. Strong familiarity with State and other accrediting agencies standards of quality care is required. Ability to exemplify the highest level of professional standards/ethics and demonstrate appropriate and culturally sensitive service delivery and community-based services. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software package. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
