Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for managing the Building Compliance Program for the Tribal Inspector’s Department. The Building Compliance Manager manages and supervises the implementation of compliance programs related to elevators, annual building inspections, milestone inspections, and adherence to building codes. This role ensures that all facilities comply with regulatory standards, maintain safety protocols, and operate effectively. The Building Compliance Program Manager coordinates inspections, enforce code compliance, and liaise with contractors and other stakeholders to support a safe and compliant environment. High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in building compliance, including but not limited to elevators, municipal ordinances, and general safety. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in residential/commercial construction.
