Job Description

This position is responsible for providing administrative support services to the Board Representative of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The individual assists the Board Representative in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards for the department, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of services to the organization, community and other STOF departments. The incumbent processes a variety of documents under the supervisor’s directives; prepares memos, reports, analytical studies, findings and alternatives for improvement or resolution; coordinates meetings, prepares reports and other confidential materials, arranges travel, manages expenses and trains and supervises other support staff. The incumbent performs assignments that require considerable independence in making decisions and obtaining solutions while adhering to and/or operating within established policies, rules and guidelines. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required. A minimum of one (1) year of experience working as an Executive Assistant in a large company or governmental office is required; or an equivalent combination of education, related training and experience will be considered. Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate excellent computer skills utilizing Microsoft software programs. Must be able to multi-task. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
