Job Description
The incumbent is responsible for assisting with the Credit and Finance Program, processing and approving several types of loans for Tribal Members and employees. Tasks include examining and evaluating credit applications, processing a large volume of loan applications using Tribal Management software, collecting and posting payments to accounts, maintaining accurate records and files, handling cash and all related tracking and reporting. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Public Administration or closely related field is required. Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in finance, credit, and banking loans is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Strong math skills and the ability to understand basic calculations for interest rates is required. Must demonstrate ability to read, interpret, and prepare amortization schedules. Must demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Must demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to travel between different reservations as required and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
