Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Building and Grounds Department assigned Reservations. The Facility Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the facility through implementation of policies, procedures and programs required by the Tribe. The incumbent ensures a well managed well maintained property with an emphasis on a positive and timely response to the concerns and needs of the Tribal Departments and the Tribal community. High school diploma or equivalent GED is required. Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Planning, Engineering, or related field is preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in facilities management performing in a supervisory and administrative capacity is required; or any equivalent combination of relevant education/training and experience will be considered. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License and be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
