Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for the Seminole Media Productions (SMP) Business Marketing Department Event Technology teams in managing and leading the sales efforts for Audio Visual (AV)/Live Event production as the Seminole Hard Rock & Casino and other external/internal clients. This role involves successfully developing and achieving sales strategies and initiatives, managing client, vendor, and partner relationships, and ensuring total client satisfaction. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business is required. Master’s Degree is preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of audio-visual technical experience, preferably in a hospitality environment with responsibility for direct client interaction and proven experience as a Sales Manager in the AV industry or a similar field is required. Prior experience in managing and developing a sales team is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, a thorough knowledge and understanding of AV technologies, and the ability to drive internal and external business growth. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
