Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting with the on-site set-up and operation of the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s (STOF) Audio Visual Technical Unit, which is supported by the Seminole Media Productions (SMP) Department. The individual provides technical audio-visual support for STOF events including departments, Tribal Council activities, and external client engagements. The position involves assisting with inventory control of equipment; and provides assistance on technical needs. High school diploma or equivalent GED, supplemented by a technical or vocational school course is required. Associate Degree in in Audio Engineer, Digital Media, Broadcast Technology, Communications or related field is preferred. A minimum of three (2) years of audio-visual technical experience preferably in a hospitality environment with responsibility for direct client interaction is required; or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Proven experience in developing positive customer relationships and seeking ways to increase revenue, customer satisfaction and loyalty is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
