Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for performing plumbing, installations, maintenance and repairs across buildings, facilities, grounds, and equipment, ensuring clean and safe operations throughout the STOF Housing residential facilities of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. This includes applying standard trade practices to maintain and install various plumbing systems and fixtures, as well as determining the materials and work methods to be used. The work is inspected during and after completion for quality, adherence to specifications, and compliance with regulatory codes. High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required. A minimum of (2) two years of experience as a skilled plumber directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified herein and a minimum of one (1) year of experience working in the maintenance and repair of building & Grounds is required. Any equivalent combination of training and experience is required. Licensed Plumber is preferred Some vocational training or job-related coursework, or, completion of an instructional program that prepares individuals to apply technical plumbing knowledge and skills is preferred. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License and must be able to travel to all STOF Reservations and other locations as necessary.
