Job Description
This position involves skilled work across multiple trade disciplines focused on the maintenance and repair of Seminole Taft Street Properties, LLC and 6365 Taft, LLC. Working under general supervision, the incumbent performs routine and preventive maintenance tasks, as well as repairs across office buildings, facility grounds, and equipment. The Maintenance Technician ensures the safe and efficient operation of the facilities and equipment, contributing to a clean and functional environment, and is pivotal in maintaining the overall upkeep and functionality of the Taft Street properties. This position requires the incumbent to be on-call on a twenty-four-hour (24/7) basis, to respond to urgent issues outside of regular business hours. High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required. Three (3) years of experience working in the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds is required. Vocational/technical training in maintenance and/or mechanical repair, or any combination of training and experience will be considered. Must possess a valid ten (10) hour Certification in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and a valid Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification or be able to obtain both within ninety (90) days of employment is required. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License. Must have the ability to work a twenty-four-hour on-call schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
