Job Description
The Medical Clinic Administrator assists the Health & Human Services Executive Director in overseeing administrative operations, regulatory compliance, and coordination across multiple healthcare facilities serving all Seminole Tribe of Florida Reservations. This position ensures consistent operational standards, regulatory adherence, and quality patient care while adapting to each site’s unique needs. The role provides direct supervision to medical clinic supervisors and the case management team, directs the development of goals, strategies, programs, and budgets, and oversees training programs to reinforce safety protocols and best practices, including test administration, procedural oversight, and reporting requirements. Responsibilities include managing staff schedules, promoting team efficiency, fostering staff development, ensuring program delivery, conducting performance evaluations, and maintaining quality control. The Administrator evaluates operations, recommends improvements, and facilitates communication between clinic staff and other Health Department functions to enhance service delivery. When needed, the position may also provide direct healthcare services—including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care—to support patient wellness and continuity of care, and requires extensive travel, maybe on short notice, to provide leadership and problem-solving support.
