Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for coordinating and providing psychiatric case management services for the members of Seminole Tribe of Florida Tribal community. The individual assists both adult and child/adolescent tribal members with obtaining and maintaining psychiatric services along with supporting any transition to clinical services as needed/recommended by CBH Psychiatrist. The Psychiatric Case Manager assists with referrals for in-house and offsite psychiatric providers. The Case Manager provides crisis intervention, conducts assessments, and implements case management plans in consultation with the Psychiatrist and a multidisciplinary team. Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required. A minimum of two (2) years of experience working in human/ social services or similarly related field is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and relevant experience may be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Ability to exemplify the highest level of professional standards/ethics and demonstrate appropriate and culturally sensitive service delivery and community-based treatment. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
