Job Description
The Health and Human Services Fiscal Programs Administrator is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of fiscal operations within the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Health and Human Services (HHS) Executive Office. This role ensures financial integrity, compliance, and effective use of funding across departments. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, procurement, accounting, grants-funded activities, and contract management. This person examines budget estimates, plans and executes economic and financial analysis, monitors expenditure; coordinates with key department personnel to maintain expenditure controls and maximizes the use of funding by developing cost-saving initiatives; and serves as a liaison with the Accounting Department and/or funding agencies. The position also administers the full grant funding cycle, including pre-award planning, proposal development, and post-award administration. The Fiscal Programs Administrator interacts with funding agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with all regulatory, grantor, and tribal regulation requirements. The individual contributes to strategic planning, emergency management preparation, and special projects as assigned.
