Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for securing both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments across the Seminole Tribe of Florida, with a focus on Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the resilience, reliability, and security of industrial control systems (ICS) from cyber threats while supporting safe and continuous operations. The individual designs and implements secure network architectures, leads monitoring and incident response efforts, and ensures compliance with industry cybersecurity standards and frameworks. This position works closely with the Information Security team, Public Works Engineers, and other key Stakeholders to bridge cybersecurity practices between IT and OT domains. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field is required. A minimum of five (5) years of experience working in cybersecurity with direct experience in firewall management and enterprise security implementations is required. Prior experience working with Palo Alto firewalls is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Possession of Palo Alto certification (PCNSE, PCCET) is required. Security certifications (Security+, ISC2-SSCP, GIAC-GICSP) is preferred. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent English written and oral communication skills. Ability to travel to all STOF Reservations and work a flexible work schedule including night, evenings, weekends and holidays.
